Is Clash of Clans Global Chat Returning in 2022?

If you're a long-time Clash of Clans player, you're probably aware that there used to be a feature called global chat in the game, which allowed players to talk with random players all over the world. However, the creators disabled global chat in the October 2019 update.

The Clash of Clans community, on the other hand, was outraged by the decision to remove the global chat. COC gamers still miss Global Chat, and they hope the devs will respond to their desire and reintroduce it to the game in the near future. Since Global Chat was gone, the majority of users have been commenting in the comment section of every Clash of Clans social media post, pleading for it to be reinstated. Although the makers of Clash of Clans have been disregarding the public's desire for almost two years, the developers have lately teased the global chat on the community tab of the game's Indonesian YouTube channel (Clash of Clans Indonesia).

Actually, the devs posted the 2022 New Year's resolutions on the Clash of Clans Indonesia YouTube channel's Community tab. Although this resolution is written in Indonesian, if you translate it with Google Lens, you will obtain an English version, as shown in the image below.

The last resolution, if you look at it closely, is about bringing back the global chat, even though it was taken from the initial article, implying that the devs have given the players their final answer: they will not bring back the global chat.

Although this is terrible news for those hoping to see global chat return to the game, based on the official post, it appears that global chat will never return.
